Default why poll ranked 03 model over 02 model 2:1

Just saw the poll over which MY was the favorite. It's weird. 03s got more than double the votes for 02. And 05 same thing over 04. Is it just b//c it's 1 year newer? I know there is 0 difference between 05 and 04. But were there someting about the 03 over the 02 I havent read?

the poll said something like it was brand new being given to you. 02 and 03 are exactly the same, but 03 is still one year newer. I drive an 02 an voted for 03. In my mind there was no reason to put in a single vote for 02 or 04, really not many reasons to vote for 01 either but that didn't stop people

The only change was made mid-year 2002. The change was to the oil-jet bolts (banjo bolts) that spray the bottom of the piston with oil. So late '02 cars are identical in any way to 2003 cars. However, an early 2002 car would have the older design of the oil jet bolts.

However, the real reason no one wants the '02 cars is there was no Silverstone for 2002.

2.2L motor only spins to 8,000 RPM.

Mabey you like the older styling.

Mabey you prefer Spa over Rio.

Mabey you don't like the 10 spoke wheel design.

Mabey you like oversteer.

Just some thoughts. Some I agree with, some not so much.

I see the same difference between the 00 and 01. But Honestly, I don't see any reason to vote for an 00-02 when an 03 is on the table.
