Default Why S2000 emblems out?

Well i used to have a Chevy Corvette before the s2k and i am just wondering why s2000 owner take their s2000 emblems off the sides? Cleaner look? Don't want people to know its name? Don't like chrome?

I think people are just going for the cleaner look. I have been hemming and hawwing over whether or not I should take those badges off my S. I do like the way it looks with them removed. And even with the badges on, I still get people coming up to me all the time asking what kind of car it is, so I dont think they help people identify the car all that much anyway.

probably got into an accident where fenders, trunk, or bumpers repainted and was too much of a hassle to put emblems back on. same with bikes that have been dumped where stock body decals no longer present.

I like the badges as they are, but then again I'm in love with the way the car looks.

I like it for the cleaner look. I have already brought one person over to the clean side

I would like to pull the H badges as well, but haven't yet due to the holes that would need filling and then the cost of repainting. I would also get the front plate holes where the plugs are filled too so I can ditch the plugs. That would be nice.

It also has the nice side effect of being that much easier to wax and clean.

Will probably remove the H badges for the look. Also remove the front plate holes. I agree that removing the side badges gives a cleaner look. But I want to keep them on for the time being. Can't make up my mind on which way to go for them.
