Punctuation please.

whats the base hp on this little monster, and liters?
240hp, 2.0L (2000-2003) or 2.2L (2004-on)

whats it do in the 1/4, and 0-60?
This is not the car to buy if all you care about is going fast in a straight line. 1/4mi is usually in the high 13s. 0-60 usually around 5.5sec if you launch it.

what kind of gas does it need and perfer oil too?
Premium fuel only. Most people use synthetic oil.

hard to maintain, and is it worth it
Depends.

iv never been into fw cars always awd so this is all new for me
The S2000 is RWD... I hope that was a typo...

if you guys could give me any info in the s2k and all details that would be great! id love to join the honda and s2k family
Welcome, but please try to use punctuation in the future... reading your post is giving me a headache.

Not trying to be a jerk, but have you even driven one? Do you even know if your going to like it?

Drive one first before you start asking questions. Believe me, you'll save yourself a lot of time.

^ I'm in complete agreement. I think the main reason for buying an S2000 is that you test drove one and fell in love. It's a driver's car, nothing else.

^^^ If you have to ask why you should buy the car, then you should NOT buy the car. It's a specialty car that's aimed at a niche market, and if you were in the target niche, you wouldn't have to ask.

To anyone who has to ask this kind of question, the answer is a resounding NO!!!

2 things:

1) I'm sorry - I can't understand what you're saying. Try a sentence. Sorry I couldn't resist.

2) You should not buy an S2k, based on the questions you're asking. It sounds like you want a car for something other than driving. You haven't mentioned anything about what makes the S2000 great, and therefore I suspect most of us don't believe you'd find it to be the "right" car for you. The S2000 is definitely a driver's car. It's not super-fast in a straight line unless you wail on it, because that's not what it's designed for. But through the twisties it's a blast. You REALLY should drive one if you still think you're interested.
