Why is it so hard to sell an S2000??!!
Thank you all for your insightful responses. This has to be one of the best online communities around.
I have now dropped my price down a bit but still no action.
I did however take my car down to Carmax this weekend and they're offering me more than blue book trade in for my car. Actually about $1500.00 more than kbb trade in value. They said due to the super clean condition, crystal clear window w/no scratches, and over 75% tread left on my S02's they can offer a bit more because they know the car was cared for and they wouldn't have to do much for resale.
I will sadly be taking my car to Carmax this Saturday if no private parties are interested.
Thanks again for all the help.

Mama should have told you cars make shitty investments. I hope you bought it for fun and not for profit.
A reasonable price is what one is willing to pay. Right now I'm guessing mine's worth $20K tops. It will settle out at about $15-16 in another couple of years and not drop down much below that level. That's the "true value".

Not only for S2000's, but I've seen Corvettes and BMW Z roadsters going for rock-bottom prices. I just looked at an '02 Corvette convertible with 4K miles, and they were only asking for $32K. That is absolutely low!
as previously mentioned it's a good time to buy a used car for anyone with cash on hand...just check out what 25k or so will buy in the ferrari market...or a pretty damn good lambo espada....i'd almost rather have a 308 for a while for the same money as an s2000...
