I sware, ever since I got the S2K, I have had all sorts of people trying to race me. I have raced a few cars like an 97'Eclipse GST and a 01' Subaru WRX: cars that in my opinion I can easily take and I do to my satisfaction

I usually get the ocasional C5 or Camaro SS or Cobra wanting to spank the little yellow S2K. I needless to say, don't race them as I don't want to get embarrassed. I just wish these big V8's would come and mess with me when I am driving my Z on steroids.....

Has anyone raced a Mustang GT or a Camaro Z28? How close was the race? How do you guys launch your S2K? I don't seem to launch it right as I usually bogg it down unless I rev it up up to 7,000+ rpm's...

hehe, if I had a penny for everytime I heard that....the name is for my 500hp Z....maybe I should change my name on this forum. I love the looks of the S2000......

It just seems everytime I am driving around on the Z, nobody wants nothing to do with it....but as soon as the S2K comes out and even if I just want to cruise around, it is like a magnet, all the Firehawks, SS's, C5's come out of hiding and want to play...it is NOT fair

 

I think it has something to do with the yellow color. Hard to exactly blend in with traffic.

it happens to me all the time. Last night was a suburan, and some old buick sedan. Mostly are modded imports. For houston people you know what westhimer is like. BTW be extra careful on westhimer, my radar do not stop beeping last night. There must have been about 10 cop cars out there.

 

Yeah, me too, owners of everything from Ford Focus ZX3 to Accords to Eclipses. It's really annoying

Yesterday, some chick with a last-generation Eclipse GST Spyder got behind me at a light. When the light turned green, I just pulled away under normal acceleration but then I heard her turbo spool u, she did everything she could to beat me so I floored it. She blew it, didn't stand a chance.........

you gotta be the better man and let em go by....racing will get you in nothing but trouble....tickets, accidents, etc etc
