this is what couple of trackdays did to Re050 Potenzas (rear)... so if you want to track your car, please buy some R compound tires, and check your tread depth regularly

I once corded a set of brand new Kumho Victoracers in just two days. It's always good to have a dedicated set of track tires, r-compound or not, so you have something to drive home on.

R comps wear out faster than regular tires.....

I guess if you had a dedicated set of R comps, you'd be fine since your street tires would be just your street tires.

My Hankook RS2s have been holding strong. 3 track days...and I've only used about 55% or so of the tires. My alignment settings rule.
