Default Wife Hit My S2K

My S2K was parked in the carport when she pulled my Prelude behind it. She got too close and hit my rear bumper. The rear bumper now has a small chip and a indentation from the bolt holding the Prelude license plate. This happened Saturday and I have been too pained to inspect it any closer until this afternoon. I see now that the bumper pushed into the right rear quarter panel taking a paint hunk from the bumper while pushing the fender in so it no longer lines up with the bumper.

Funny thing is that I don't think I am mad at her so much as I am sad about my car.

On a lighter note, I don't believe it has affected the car's acceleration or handling. Tested that out on Sunday's drive.

My wife lives in mortal fear of damaging my baby. Not only is she hesitant to drive it, but she never parks within any range where she could do damage. This surprises me because she certainly isn't afraid of me. . . at all!

Richard, have you ever thought of perhaps replacing Oprah if she ever decides to leave her show?

You LUCKY boy! You can hold this over her for the rest of your natural lives. Think of the concessions she'll have to make to you pretty much forever.
(This is kind of a reach, isn't it? )

Oh yeah! And if I continue to find residual damage it could go on for a long time. "Honey, I don't know how you managed this, but you also put a ding in the header. Can I get a new one?"

Mingster, what's with all the happy marriage stuff? Are you floating around on cloud nine? Does you wife/girlfriend monitor theboard?

My wife will hit anything parked in the driveway. She hit a friends car with the van, my integra with the van and the van with the truck. I live in mortal fear of her clipping the S2000. Every time I pull in I make a B-line for the garage.

However, she's afraid of hurting my baby also. She's driven it once in a parking lot and that's good enough for her.

As she explained to me, the car's better than another woman, so she wants the car around for a long long time.

Damn, I was in the car, passengers side, when my father in-law drove the S into my A4 wagon. I made an executive decision that this wasn't a big deal as that is what bumpers are for. I like him a lot and I love my marriage so thats the story I'm sticking to.
