I had the Black Chrome OEM kit on my '00 Berlina Black and it was one of the first modifications on my '02. I remember that handaacessories.com called me and told me that they probably would'nt fit. I told them to ship them anyway and I would see what I could do.
I figured if nothing else, I could cut off/sand down the two notches. However, when they arrived, I had to do nothing of the sort. They fit perfect, a bit tight but they look great! Get them, you'll love the way they look!
i also put the full black chromes on my '00 berlina black!!
love the side emblems-
but when ricks came out i replaced the front and rear and now have the wheels and steering wheel S emblems. i prefer the ricks badges to the black chromes, but i understand that this is just my opinion.
with black chromes all around:
black chromes on the sides and ricks everywhere else:
have an '02 sebring silver and black chrome badge kit went on without a hitch...no shaving or cutting- no problem- holes and pegs match up perfectly. was simple to install once old badges were off and area was cleaned of adhesive residue. hope this settles this.
I think the confusion is because the emblem size changed after MY00-01. I have a small emblem. When I line up next to a MY03 at a cruise, you can see the huge difference.
They should be fine. Maybe, maybe you'll get some paint fade where the old one was. If the paint is not old or the car has been taken care of, then you won't be able to tell.
It fits perfect. However, if you wanted to get the JDM Integra Type R H-badge (from the RSX), then you would need to shave the 2 pins and just use the double sided tape.
I put them on my '03 S2000 and they were a bit smaller than the stock ones, but the pegs fit. The guy at the dealership did it and he must have used a screwdriver because he broke the old emblem taking it off and dinged my paint. I had to reshoot the front bumper. So, the lesson is to do it yourself and use a heat gun and some dental floss.
I haven't put the side ones on, and I'm not sure I will.
Dang, I'm having a hard time taking off the front emblem on my 04. It's clipped on tight! I can't even break the pegs. I'm having the dealer do it tomorrow. The back and sides came off fine, just the front gave me a hard time. ahhck!
