Speedometer will need to be re-calibrated for sure. Also, rubbing might be an issue. 19's are usually wider wheels, as well, so they might not fit under the rear fenders if they are too wide or have too large of a lip. Ride quality will also most likely go to hell because of the tiny tires. Acceleration will also suffer due to rotational inertia.

Speedometre will read correctly so long as you plus size your tires properly.

Performance will suffer significantly as all of the wheel weight is being pushed further out away from the hub.

Terrible idea if performance is any concern of yours.

I was told that you can only go +2 sizes on the tires, because there is no 19" tire that is the same diameter, when mounted, as the stock 16's. 18's can get away without re-calibrating, but 19's probably not.

You might be able to go with a 30 series tire, but that low of a side wall would increase risk of bending rim on potholes.
