Will MY02 cd chngr work in MY04?

Hey anybody know if the MY02 factory cd changer will work in a MY04? also can they both use the same front strut brace? It's a Cusco.

an 02 changer will not work with a 04 head unit - different part numbers

i was told this by Jeff aka hardtopguy - i assume the harness is different because the 04 is x/m ready
