Default Will there ever be a S2000 Type R?

S2000 has nearly reached its 10th anniversary....and we all know that they only came up with the CR and Type S(JDM), but still both are not Type R...and according to an interview with one of the designer of CR, the CR is only at the middle of Type S and Type R...The things that I like about the CR is that it recieved wider rear tires and Potenza RE070 at all corners, and the suspension settings. The aero design is ok to me, but the most part that I hate on it is its "weight savings", 90 pounds?....I dont think that it is something...coz 90 lbs less will only make the s2000 light like its '99-2002 AP1 models. I really want Honda to came up with a Type R...I mean with the CR's tires (make the front tires also wider like 225 or 235), and suspension....a REAL weight savings making the S2000 at about 2600 lbs....and finally, a Type R engine treatment(especially...still... the torque)....with increased redline.

Why not just go for a full interior strip, and trunk as well (it would be fun)

You don't need to pay honda to do this. Swap out seats, take out radio, soft-top, a/c. Get some expensive lightweight wheels, learn to drive and slim down, only put a little gas in...

as for the engine... i guess some work would be needed, there could also be a choice of rear diff's

something that would also be interesting would be a floppy paddle shifter type transmission
