My crystal ball is about 75% accurate and it says the 2004 will be softer and loose a little bit of it's handling edge. I will be slightly more docile as well. The engine in reality will produce slightly more power about as much as an F20C with I/H/E and V-AFC. The car will not be night and day differen't maybe more early morning late morning maybe not even. Most Americans will believe it is a better car and more people may or may not buy them. True enthusiasts will continue neglect the car in favor of other new to our shore rides like the EVO, STI and 350Z.
I any case though I don't care because with a skilled driver anything is possible. Hell and S2000 can beat an R34 GTR on a downhill mountain pass if the S2k's driver is superior and the course is suited to a lighter car. I could have just said an AP1 can beat a R34 GTR, but everyone would say IMPOSSIBLE!!!! (Please don't flame because if you don't agree you just don't know, don't make me cite specific examples) No matter what I will continue to work on my car and on my skills tirelessly. The S2000 is a great car to drive because the car trains the driver. If you learn to drive the S to it's limits you will be fast in almost any car you drive. Modifying the S to raise it's level may be a hard road, but it is a very rewarding one. The S may be difficult to press to it's limits, but it is equally rewarding.
Anyway that's all I have to say until the flames start and I have to set the record straight. Later....
