I was thinking, has anyone thought of using clear cling-wrap on both sides of the back window to protectr during opening and closing? I got the idea from NASCAR. . .

NASCAR has convertibles? Seriously, have you tried it? Does it work? Sounds intriguing.

Although I have never had my top down, I was planning to try that out, but didn't know if it would work or not. I got the idea when I read someones post about tinting the plastic window. Do you think there will be enough protection? I was thinking maybe one application per side, across the middle of the window would do it. For those of you who have had the top down, does the whole window on each side need to be covered, or only the center (horizontal plane)?
