I cant imagine why you would bother with a 75% tint.

I'm 5% on the sides and 35% on the windshield as well. It helps block out some of the poorly installed HID's here in Philly. And during the day it cuts some sun out. I never use my visors. I haven't gotten pulled over yet, yet.......... I also didnt put my inspection stickers on the tint. Anybody have tint on the windshield and have a good idea about putting the stickers on? I don't want them the scrape my tint next year when they change them. Sorry for the thread jack, but its kind of relevant.

Polling's never the way to determine your preference. Go with what you prefer and works for you.

Now that's a different matter. ~30 sides, 20 rear.

Anything 50% or higher is almost invisible and only serves to protect your interior/cool it in the summer slightly, but does nothing aesthetically.
Cooling can matter depending on where you live. Living in Houston heat rejection was actually more important to me.

I am also in Nazifornia and I have 50% all around(sides and back). I like it the same tint all around because I don't have to adjust my eyes every time I switch from the rear window to the side windows.

50% is not very noticeable from the outside but noticeable from the inside. Next time, though I'll probably get it one step lower(35%) all around. I saw 75% when I was making the decision and there's literally no difference visually. 50% is good if you drive allot at night, otherwise 35% will do. Anything lower and you're asking to get pulled over and having a hard time seeing at night.

I thought all tint on windows not behind the driver was illegal in Kali? Drivers windows couldn't have tint, and definitely no tint on forward facing glass.
As for percentage, does anyone know what the tint on the mugen plexiglass is?

I went 35% on side and 20% on back. The side windows don't look any darker then the back. I can still see at night all the way around the car. If you're worried about the police stick with legal if not then do what you want.

S2ks with dark tint look amazing. Such a subtle change but looks great and keeps your interior cooler. Go as dark as you can stand.
