Took off the tint on the two side windows and the hardtop no problems, due to the constraints of doing the soft top I accidently ripped up on 2 of the defrost lines

Bummer

^^^ Yes, also backing up at night can be a PITA
Think this is an issue with all tints or just the quality of the film or application?

Haha, well if you put 5% tint on the back window you're going to have a bit of trouble reversing at night. No way around that. I didn't have too much of trouble with 20%.

35% sides, 20% rear.. looked great on my berlina.. I'll probably do 35% sides and rear this time with the CR. It didn't make a whole lot of difference on the berlina since the top was down all the time... As far as the CR goes, since the top isn't always off the car, I didn't want it to be too dark...

Ohio is 50% btw so we are limited to how dark we can "legally" go...

Mine was only tinted to 35% when I had that issue.

If you can't see to back up because the tint is to dark, 4 second solution is to drop the top.

I have 25% on the rear and 35% on the sides - cops in AZ do not mess with you on tint much. I did go 35% on the rear window of my hardtop.
