Default window tinting on S2K

I'm thinking about window tinting on S2K ( 2 sides and back window ). Has anyone done it? my friends say I shouldn't be doing any window tinting on convertible because it make the cabin to dark at times.....Is it true? I'm not looking at too dark tints..may be 35% to 50% shades.

i tinted mine 15% on the sides and 20% on the rear and have had no problems. just be sure you get your tint professionally done.

My tint is 15% all around. Two side windows and back window. Yes, it is dark in the cabin with the tinted windows at night and is hard to see but you'll get use to it.

I've got 35% on the sides, and 20% in the rear. It's too dark for me actually. I didn't think it'd be this dark, but with black interior and a small cabin, no light gets in. Don't get me wrong, I can see out of the windows just fine... but if I had to do it over I'd do 50% on the sides and 35% in the rear.

Mine is 15% all the way around and is extremely difficult to see out of at night. My main objective in having the windows tinted was to not be able to be seen when the top was up. If yours is the same, I would reccomend having a slight mirrored tint installed with a greated percentage tint ratio. Depending on what color your car is, slight mirrored tint looks great.

Bunch of us Midwest guys had a group install. I got 20% on the back and 35% on the side, imo, its the perfect combo. Night rear visibility is fine, and 35 on the sides, you can barely tell. Its a little difficult to see out the rear when backing up,but if youre careful its ok. Else I would go with 35% all around.

Anyone have experiences with limo tint all the way around (or limo sides and a 20 back)?

i have 35% on sides and its fine in the day and night. helps with the glare on the side windows from headlights. i didnt tint the rear. wanted full vision when backing up and i can flip the switch on the rearview mirror to reduce glare.
