I think I have the same problem. I daily drive my 07 S2000 and I've got a little over 31,000 on the clock. I notice that the driver side window makes a clicking noise when i roll over bumps or potholes in the road from time to time, almost as if the glass is wiggling and something solid like metal is tapping on it when it does. I have never been able to confirm what the noise is or if it is indeed cause by the driver side window being more loose than the passenger side. Ive never heard such a sound from the passenger side, and the Honda Dealership tells me that such noises are inevitable on a convertible, so again I cannot confirm...

But I do suspect....

when you close the door make sure to use the handle. using the glass = loosens it = shaky/rattly. most likely since you drive alone more often + youre using the glass, the driver side is shaky.

Don't let anyone close your passager door by using the window. It leaves hand marks and like stated above it will cause window rattle/wiggle. Theres not much you can do to eliminate the rattle, just turn up the music or take apart the interior panels so that the rattle can show up later(trust me I tried) Make sure you show whos boss when it comes to protecting your property, show no mercy, tell ppl that you love your s2k and if they defie it, shoot them in the leg

i have the same clicking noise from my drivers window sometimes...when entering the freeway mostly, it comes and it goes. i have 43,000 miles. i think it is within the normal range of noises convertibles make .

Its pretty easy to fix..

take the door panel off and at the top there is a metal bracket with a felt cushion. its held by one bolt and is adjustable. loosen the bolt, push the bracket tight against the window, tighten the bolt down.

no more rattling window.

If the felt is worn down you can get new stoppers at honda for around 15-20 bux if i remember right.
