I can't stand seeing convertibles (whatever flavor they are) driving down the road with the top down and the windows up. I'm not a violent person at all but when I see one of these toolfactories, I'd like to drop kick their teeth through the back of their head. Off topic but the same thing applies to people that walk around with a blue tooth earpiece in their ear but arent talking on it at the time. Silly.
Wow... top down, windows up... whats the problem with it? Keeps the wind out, especially at highway speeds...

I kinda agree on the bluetooth thing... but the whole point of handsfree is to be handsfree... putting it on when you receive the call is pointless.

Dude get the lyrics right, it's "Back seat, windows up, that's the way I like to ****"

Back seats are nowhere near our S2K's!

who cares if it looks funny or ugly when its up. what matters, does it make driving a little easier and more fun, hell yes! why? because now i can hear the music at 70mph and its easier to hear the back pressure from the exhaust when the top is down and windows up in 2nd gear at 4k-rpms.

I don't see anything wrong with top down windows up as well. As another mentioned, it helps you hear your radio a little better without having to blast it. And sometimes I just don't want all that wind blowing in my face. Or if it is a little chilly but still want the top down experience, it is one way to keep some of the cold from blowing at you. Don't get me wrong, I'm 90% top and windows down when the weather permits but there is the occasion when I keep it up.

Now with the bluetooth thing, I totally agree. I have one but the only time I put it on is when I am driving. Basically when my hands are tied and I can't hold my phone to my ear is when I'll use it.

I just think it looks silly to have the top down and windows up. If you want to keep the wind out, put the top up. It's a convertible, it gets windy sometimes I saw a Chrystler Sebring durring lunch today with the top down. The driver and passenger windows were down but the two rear quarter windows were up. they looked like little shark fins. I just about had a Conniption Fit. Ok not really but close.

At any rate, Tint your windows. I had mine tinted the first year of ownership and never regretted doing it.

I think it looks great imo. I have my windows tinted 20 or 30 can't remember and I usually cruise with the windows up when the top is down. Blocks the sun if it is on the sides, keeps the wind out, lowers the noise and you can listen to the music much better. I think the car looks better witht he top down with the windows up rather than down.

Man I'm a girl with medium length hair... too short to ponytail it and too long to stay out of my eyes, I have the windows up most of the time if the top is down and I'm going over 30mph. :/ Might look lame to some but it's better than trying to drive with hair getting caught in my eyes.

I imagine most people on this thread don't have this problem though.

^^^looks kind of goofy but I sometimes drive with top down and windows up for various reasons. If it's functional and serves my purpose I don't care if other people don't like it.

Thaat's a nice photo svmtbman, but I'm with the others, generally it simply looks 'wrong'.
