I haven't kept up with the this but I just saw it posted...

All please enlighten me.

I have a white S2000. If I remove the windshield frame tape, is it white? or do I need to paint the frame white?

Another dumb question is it difficult to remove and how do I do it?

It's white underneath the black tape.

Thanks S2K Fan,

Is it easy process to remove?

How do I remove it? What tools do I need?

Mark. Don't do it. IMO it doesn't look right on a white. From a distance, the white band looks like a piece of wire sticking up in the air. For some reason, it looks O.K. on red and silver.

If you do take it off and change your mind about it later, the Helm service manual tells you how to put it on again - but apparently it's a bitch.

Also.....if you take off the tape, the frame MAY need a touch-up or even a respray - depending on how good/bad the original paint was applied.
