Default wing spoiler noise

Sorry if this has been discussed a lot before, but I was wondering if anyone has a MY04 with the new wing spoiler??

My questions are:

1. does the spoiler cause any wind noise?

2. does it increase any in-cabin wind buffeting?

I decided a couple days ago to finally order a MY 04 Suzuka Blue. I'm getting some quotes on pricing and like the looks of the spoiler.

The dealer told me it was "just for looks" and didn't do anything for aerodynamics....
Is that too poser??

Anyway, I'm just TOTALLY psyched now that I've decided to order it, I've been REALLY stoked to get one for about two years!

Any help is GREATLY appreciated. Now if I can just stop re-reading all those S2k articles...

Thanks

Jeff

I'm not entirely sure, but i think that the deck spoiler has some functionality; some people have stated that the rear end feels more planted at fast highway speeds with it.

the '04 also has that wing type spoiler(the one you want), though i doubt that it's angled for downforce so that one's probably just for looks. In fact, it probably increases drag (producing some noise too ) quite a bit by placing a nonfunctional airfoil just before the car's aerodynamic wake.
