Default Winter Storage

Anyone have an opinion about whether or not to latch the top down tight or leave it unlatched, also leave the windows down an inch or so while under a Honda cover during indoor winter storage.
I'm thinking that if you leave it unlatched the top should not strech out and the windows won't make a permanent impression in the rubber seal while sitting for 5 months.

Windows down a few inches to let the interior breath and release any mositure. Not sure about the top.

I like your reasoning on keeping the top unlatched. It seems like a good idea to minimize the tension on the top's fabric and unnecessary compression on the seals.

PROBABLY GOOD TO LEAVE THE FABRIC UN-TAUT. YOU WILL GET MORE THAN ENOUGH VENTILATION BY THE TOP BEING UNLATCHED AND THROUGH THE FRESH AIR VENT IF YOU LEAVE THE CONTROLS SET AT O/S AIR AND ANY SETTING.

CRITTERS WILL INVADE THE GARAGE FOR WINTER NESTING AND YOU DO NOT WANT MICE, SQUIRRELS, ETC, USING YOUR SEATS FOR NESTING MATERIAL. I WOULD CLOSE THE WINDOWS.

FOR ME, S2K IS YEAR ROUND EXCEPT WHEN THE SNOW IS ON THE GROUND. NY WINTERS HAVE NOT BEEN TOO BAD LATELY.

I've been thinking about opening up a S2000 nesting ground for those of you with harsh winters. We'll have plenty of paved acres for them roam free. Just PM me for more details.
