Winter tire size and recommendations
I have an 04 s2k and i want to start looking into winter tires for my s2k. I will probably be getting Bridgestone blizzaks as i have driven them on my moms slk and it had reallly good traction. I went on tirerack and they showed two options for me to go with. The stock 17 wheels with same size tires as the oem or 16 inch rims with 205/55 in the front and 225/50 in the rear. My question is which setup should i go with. Would it be better to run them all the same size? Will the stock 16's on 00-03 s2k fit my car? Please post ur opinions and recommendations on what setup i should be looking into.
Thanks
John

I found it best to stick with the offset tires.
also, try www.nokiantires.com
the nokian hakka II's are definitely better than the blizzaks. these tires rock.

Also, keep in mind that there are several models of "Blizzaks". Know which one you are asking for. There are the WS-50, LM-22 and Revo 1. The better snow tire are the WS and Revo. The LM will be better for dry road performance but will lack somewhat for snow traction.

Go with these as 17" snow tires will be more expensive. Yes, 16" rims of the proper width and offset will work on your car.
