My temp range is about 50F-95F Anytime I'm outside that range, I put the top up. But for those driving with the top down at 20F, are you wearing a parka, ski mask and a canadian toque?

I live in Houston, so the top actually stays up on summer days and comes down at night. Our winters aren't too bad, so I'm looking forward to being top down much more often.

I'll be top down mostly. We don't have a harsh winter here.

For us northerners, getting mentioned on an internet forum is almost as sweet as grabbing a mention on a US sitcom. I've never been prouder of our toques...

Chicago Winters - Top down unless it's actively precipitating, or below freezing and night time.

Actually, flurries = top down too, just as long as it's not raining, or really wet snow.

As soon as it hits about 45 degrees the snow tires go on though. Then I spend 3-4 months getting depressed every time I look at the ugly steel wheels on my beautiful car.

I'm in Ottawa Canada, and it gets damn cold in the winter here. The last winter day that I had the top down was on 4 Jan. and it stayed up after that until March.

I got my car back in January, so I had to experience that top-down-while-snowing.
But I heard it's not recommended to activate the top below 45 degrees.
I guess I'm gonna leave the top up for this winter.
I hate winter.

I've never heard the "below 45" thing, I'm curious as to your source?
