saw this pick on one of the posts and was wondering if anyone knew what mod the screen was and whether it was an option that is available in other countries, and can it be done here

I forget the Country(ies) that this was used but I believe this is a GPS unit for the Stook. Looks really cool, probably really expensive and if you take your Stook to the track probably wouldn't recommend this heavy mod. Pretty cool though, huh?

The one in the new Acura MDX is nice too. I got to play with one at the dealer for a while one day.

Why do you suppose they decided to offer this in Japan but not the US? I would think it would be much more useful in the US since there are more places to get lost.

Published reviews complained about the sparesness of the options. The GPS pictured above looks pretty good in the car in my opinion...

Yea- it would be nice if the part was the same used in other Honda/Acura cars in the US and all you had to do was order the Dash from Japan- unfortunately the dash is reversed :-)
