Default Woof?

Wondering how your dog handles driving around in the S...

What kind of dog do you have and what does he do with the top down?

Haven't taken my dogs in the S and probably won't. They shed too much hair.

I took my lab a couple of times. With the top down I wouldn't worry about dog hair. It pretty much flies right out of the car. I used a bed sheet to cover the seat and a seat belt harness to strap him in.

Does taking your dog out in the S mean you don't have to walk it anymore ????

anyone who travels with a dog in the front seat of an airbag equipped vehicle is really not deserving of that dog's love and affection. the airbag will KILL in the event of even a minor fender bender. c'mon people, you wouldn't put a small child in the front seat, so why would you place your pet there???????

My 6 year old Vizsla loves S rides. The seat does a great job of containing her, whereas in other carsm she has a tendency to poke her nose curiously in the driver's 'personal space'.

That's what I was thinking...

People put dogs in cars all the time. My 5 year old neice loves to ride around, and as long as a child is restrained, what's the big deal?

I'm just worried about my dog jumping out with the top down if he sees a cat, or a bottle of beer (good dog)

you really don't get it do you??? yes, it's your life but your dog, well, ya'know, he can't exactly know about the dangers of that freakin explosive device that's in front of him! a dog's anatomy is completely incompatible with an automobile airbag, seatbelt harness or not. their neck get broken. that's the fact. ask a vet. please... ask a vet.

HIS LIFE IS IN YOUR HANDS. you don't have to live a sheltered life, but it's YOUR responsibility to care for your pet. if you want to take your dog out, try a walk or a jog, or get a different vehicle. i'm not joking about this one... there are tons of alternatives other than putting a dog's life is jeopardy.

"my dog, my life", PUHLEASE. your dog HIS life.

it's not cute and it's really pathetic. your attitude makes me ill. literally. there is NO WAY IN HELL, you can justify (defend) taking a dog out in a two seater (w/o an airbag cutoff switch), unless he is in need of emergency medical treatment.

do you think that it's ok to put a small child in the front seat too??? is suppose all those warning stickers and well documented airbag-related deaths is just a left-wing conspiracy or something.
