Dedicated snow tires. We all used to drive RWD vehicles in all winters in years not that far gone. It's a mind over matter thang...

I live in Rochester, NY and travel to the Adirondacks (lots of snow/mountains) during the winter (grew up there). My winter car is a '95 Camaro Z28 with a 6 speed and snow tires.

I have never gotton stuck with this car in any conditions. This car is very good in the snow, esp. if you "stay awake".

For Minn, I'd recommend snow tires on any car driven in the winter. Front/Rear drive won't matter most of the time.

While living in Plymouth MN I drove a 95 TransAm 6 speed with snows on all 4 wheels. Never had a problem driving. When I purchased the S while in MN there was only one thing to do ..... move back to Texas . Seriously you should go out to the regional group for MN, WI, IL, etc and get their opinions.

Agreed that snow tires are probably more important than front-wheel drive in the winter up here. Even so, I can't imagine driving the S2000 year-round in Mpls.
I'd keep the S2000 and the Maxima and get a cheap winter beater. BTW, they move snow well in MN but use a hellish amount of salt to do it!

driven my s2k last CANADIAN winter with LM22's and I was fine.

Just be smart about your driving, sell the maxima, get your wife the G35 Cpe and have a blast!!!!!
