Yeah you can contest your ticket through the mail. I did it once a long time ago. It took them almost a year to settle the case though but at least it didnt go on my record. Otherwise, I'd have to show up to court twice just to plead my case.

Send it to Ticket Busters or similar. Don't let 'em bash you. None one here drives like a nun. If they do, maybe they're driving the wrong car.

I'd definitely would fight the off duty cop part of the ticket.

If the citing officer did not see the illegal pass then go to court. The witness (off duty officer) has to show up. If he doenst then that is thrown out.
