Rolled Nine Times!!!

And the passenger compartment is still intact. Yowza...the S is definitely a tough lil' bugger.

Makes me feel better about swapping my beloved Miata for the S. There's no way a factory Miata could survive a crash of that magnitude as well as that S did!

I've heard it said that Honda's stuffy and staid 'cuz they believe in a balance of safety, mileage, emissions and performance. Give me a "stuffy" Honda anytime. You go, Honda!

i think the reason for the crash is clear - way to much toe-out on the left rear.

Rolled over 9 times - no way. The passenger side mirror is fine.

The car is strong. I know because about a year ago my friend and I crashed on his s2000. We hit the wall at 90mph on a spin out. Some SOB cut us of and my friend freaked out and looked the car up. before we knew it we had spun from the left line all the way to the right median hitting the wall rear first then front. Luckily we didn't hit any cars. And as for the SOB who cut us of, well we never saw him again. I'll show you the pics soon.

That would almost be funny if it weren't a friend of mine's incident you were taking a pot shot at.

I'm guessing that the roll over didn't happen with the axis of the roll being the center-line of the car. If you look closer, you may or may not see what I think I see. I think that the car rolled on a diagnol axis....look at a corner and its opposing corner. Maybe that's why the passenger side door is in pretty decent condition.
