On most of the roads I drive on to work the speed limit is 80 km/h.
But "they" don't specify how fast you are allowed to get there

When I drive the S, I try to find a rural route to any destination. That translates to some fun on any trip I take, even if it adds several extra miles to my journey. If a rural route is not an option, I'll consider driving my truck.
Owning a S2000 in the city is very frustrating though, from what I remember when I lived in Va Beach.

My motto is also... You have speed limits, but for now they haven't yet put limits on how fast you may achieve those limits! So there comes the S in very handy

I actually try to make a trip from A to B not the shortest but the most fun, then the expensive gas is better spend imo giving me some fun for my money

I actually have never floored the pedal to the carpet But it IS frustrating having such a great car and almost never have an opportunity to use it without risking your license. So I spend most of my time between 2000 and 3500 rpm

Everyday

Theres a mile stretch after i get on the onramp that i can WOT and slow down a bit before merging into the freeway. Usually i check to see if anyone is behind me or not first then i WOT to around 85-90. Slow down to 70 and merge into the freeway. I get out of work pretty late around 9pm so theres really not a lot of cars on the road. Its the mile i look foward to the most after a long day of working

You might check the code book for your area. Where I live, hard acceleration can lead to a ticket for exhibition of speed.

If you get caught

Yeah, but over here even F1 cars are allowed on the streets (look at another thread from yesterday or so), so I think this wil not be a problem

They are allowed at Spa when they close it off to the public.
