Default Would like others opinion

I would like some of your opinions. I have a chance to buy these used Mugen exhuast for my AP1 for about ~$700+my stock. The current owner bought them used also. So it's used for how long I don't know. Per the owner they are still in good condition but has a little dent. I was about to come down to his area and give him my stock + cash for his Mugen today. But he called and canceled, good thing he called it would've been a 2 hour drive one-way. And said that he can get it to me 2 weekends from now. I'm alittle upset because I pulled my stock out already and loaded it into my SUV. So now I have to put it back on to drive it again. I have nothing against the owner he's a good guy but it kinda wasted my time.

Anyways, I was about to get a new Fujitsubo Legalis-R but I saw this opportunity. Is it worth it to wait and buy the use Mugen or buy a brand new Fujitsubo? I like the sound of the Fuji as I have heard in person. What do you think? Get the Fuji? or Mugen. Cons and Pros for the Fuji and Mugen? Decisions decisions can't make up my mind. Thanks for your opinion and help.

700+your stock+4 hour drive=not worth it in my opinion. if i were you, i would keep my stocks and buy the fujitsubo.

You could get the Fuji and keep the extra cash for another mod, like an intake or something. Unless you are planning on going hardcore JDM with all your parts...

Thanks for your opinion. Any others? Would it be worth it if the owner comes to my area or least meet me half way?

I don't know, would it? Why are you wanting others to make this decision for you?

Like stated above, you could get the Fuj and it would be brand new and less money and time, plus you could retain your stock incase you need it.
On the other hand the Mugen is a really nice exhaust and is definitely JDM.

I would go with the Fujitsubo since it is more affordable and you're getting it new. However the Mugen is tempting

The Mugen weighs a good deal less and has no risk of losing power. However, $700 seems high if you have to give him your exhaust. For a used item like that, which is not in perfect shape, I would expect to pay $700 alone given it was about $1500-1600 new...then knock some off for your exhaust.

^^agreed.

$700 + your stock doesnt seem like the greatest of deals. Id say $700 and you keep the stock or have him knock off some money if you trade.

I like the tone of the Mugen better than the Fuji (its too quiet for me). Both are quality exhausts though. The Fuji weighs a little more than the Mugen, but the Mugen costs double.

I say buy the Fuji and start out with a brand new exhaust since cost seems to be the major issue.
