Default Would powdercoated wheels sell?

I might powdercoat my stock MY02 wheels black or gunmetal. If I decided to ugrade wheels down the road do you think they would sell or would people be turned off by the powdercoating? Thanks.

Powdercoating black would be sweet. Would be a nice contrast for my Sebring 2002. Might be a cheaper alternative to getting an aftermarket set.

they'd sell for basically the same price as non-powdercoated wheels, no reduction in value from what i've seen. I'd be up for a set of gunmetal powdercoated AP2 wheels myself

I like the ones where the guy just did the recessed parts black. It's in his sig, but I can't think of the member right now.

iirc, there was a set of AP1 black powdercoated rims 4sale in the 4sale section (obviously)... the buyer sold @ $400/set. which, imho, is more than what AP1 rims are worth (typically avail for $200-300, no tires). then again, you definitely won't recover the cost of your powdercoating (about $100/rim, yah?)... so .. powdercoater beware.. heh.
