deshroud valve area in chamber
polish chambers
surface deck
assembly / new seals included

An older S would benefit from all but the ported head.

Yes, always keep the car properly maintained. According to the AP1 service manual full disassembly and inspection of the head is required every 60K miles. I

Also you should do a full transmission disassemble and reassemble every 30k miles

And it doesn't hurt to disassemble and reassemble the differential too.

I think with all the monkey mechanics everywhere you'd end up taking a perfectly good motor and get it cleaned etc etc then have a moron put it back together wrong and ruin it.

If it's not broken, don't fix it. There are plenty of other simple ways to get more power besides port and polish which will barely do anything without supporting mods anyways.

Our S has 75,000 miles and it still runs strong as hell. Frequent maintenance makes a big difference.
