I think i saw this in another post:

i'm looking for another car that i can really thrash around and not feel bad about scraping a limited edition anything.
So, this is not your next car then?

What is it? Looks like a kit car copy of a Lambhorgini. Even Dr.Evil would look good in it. Or maybe with a fine large breasted model sprawlled accross the hood. I like big balloons!

from what i gathered on the info they had, it's a tubeframed race car (mid engine, RWD)

the body is some type of composite material.

that's not my next car, no money. i would entertain the thought if the bodyworks were a bit different (less like a diablo and more like the Saleen S7) with underbody diffuser.

BTW, sorry, forgot to explain this:

It's made by Shelby Customs. Street legal, tube framed kit car.

It's the best looking one I've ever seen though.

Why would you compare it to a high performance four door luxury car? No, I would not spend my 80 grand on that!

OK, I'm forced to look stupid here...

I thought kit cars were basically a body panel upgrade to an existing frame with some minor, some major frame mods possible.

But this thing looks really sweet, seems to have some real juice behind it, and will only set you back $80k? What am I missing? Is the chunk of change just for the body kit that you place on another $80k car?

I've always liked that general look, but it usually will run you close to half a mil. How on Earth is this thing only $80k?!

for the price. it was the closest thing i can recall having roughly the same price. you remember that i was drooling all over the S7, but at $300K+, i'd rather get something that looks just as exotic and handles just as well.

that car is expensive (in the kit car sort of way) is because it's pre-built by the factory. i don't believe they mentioned anything about a donor car though...

just think, maybe one day they'll have an S2000 kit car!!!
