I would have no problem getting an 04 if I didn't have an S already. I love yellow but it would be hard to get top $$ for mine on trade in or selling it even though it has low miles. So I will keep what I have for now

All of these threads trashing the 04 are funny. Around here, I think the new models will sell very well given what has happened to the 1st generation. Every rice boy and their left nut is trading up from their civic or del sol to a used s2k, and the further you can distinguish yourself from that gang the better for alot of people. Be happy with your 04 and just thank God they don't all have wings and carbon fiber hoods yet.

Perhaps a better question would be whether or not the nay sayers would trade their older 9K machines right now straight up with no money changing hands for a brand new 2004 S2000?

If anyone even pauses to answer that question, it is a matter of money and not 1000 rpms.

Not me! I have no intention of letting go of my 2002 Spa.
I waited for the '02 improvements, and am of the opinion the '02 and '03 are the best models. The only twist is that if I could trade to a European '04, you know the one, the one that still gets the 2.0 and the 9-grand redline, well then maybe...

Bring it on!

The new red/black combination is great, but the overall upgrade is not worth letting go of what I already have. Perhaps next time, or better yet - never!
