Wrapped Car VS Showroom Car
Well I have finally been able to locate the car of my choice however it is a showroom car. I have been to dealers where everyone including Incontinent Grandma is sitting in these showroom cars. People run their hands over the paint while wearing rings, watches etc. I can take the car from the showroom or wait for a new one to arrive. Problem is I only get a " build date" from the dealer which is probably a crock of shit in the first place. I would prefer waiting for a wrapped car but then again I don't want the car in September. Any way to verify "build date"? Anyone have any experiences with showroom cars?

Yeah....I wanted a wrapped one......but the dealers gave me indigestion and stress with build date a delivery.........Ya just can trust them...........I thought the first dealer i went to was honest....................big mistake....after four or five conversations they start to contraDICK themselves......I got my off the floor Looks fine.....I am not worried ...looks great....hey if its on the floor tougher for someone to get a test drive.....I'd rather someone sit in it then some one drive it!

I bought mine off the showroom floor. I test-drove it too. They took it ouside and I went for a ride.
Just make sure you look it over carefully but you should be fine.

Got mine off the showroom floor, and I had those concerns as as well. I gave it a
complete inspection inside and out before I made my decision. It obviously had been
touched a lot, and I could see smudges from handprints, but there were no
scratches or nicks. It turned out fine.
Funny thing is (well, now it's funny) is that once I had signed the papers with finance and
I was going over the owner's manual with the saleswoman at her desk (and of course, the car
is now mine) a couple came in with their 3-year old son, and he had a toy in his hand walking near the
car. I calmly told her in a firm but serious tone, "GET..THE.. KID.. AWAY.. FROM.. MY..CAR." She promptly
got up and escorted the parents and the kid to another part of the showroom while the techs
wheeled my car to the parking lot. Whew.
You seen that commercial where the guy is diving after the shopping cart to save his car from getting dinged?
That was my visual.
Enjoy!
