Hy everyone,

Sadly I wrecked the engine on my S2K. I've now started the process of buying a replacement engine, and would like to get your opinion on how to go about it. Best sources, what to look for and what to be aware of. It would be most interesting to hear from those who have suffered a similar experience.

TIA!

PS. I was in 4th at around 8,5K RPM and missed 5th. Not sure how long I over-reved for but the resulting damage is extensive.

You probably don't need it, but there's a daul cam engine out there for the S. I found it in the Hyper Rev catalog for the S2000, just incase you think about a complete replacement.

Why not take this opportunity and get a MY97+ NSX engine with 290 hp. Yea it's only a 50 hp increase, however, think of all the extra torque. Plus the V6 will respond better to mods!
