Cut the guy some slack. I'm sure English is not his first language.
The "Black Box" usually refers to the car's computer or ECU (Electronic Control Unit). Except in the S2000's case, it's not really black. It's kinda grey. It's in the left side footwell. Here's a pic:

It the thing at the top of the pic where all those wires go into.
