no doubt that diffuser is the result of hundreds of hours of design and development work by engineers.

looks like something i once "crafted" for use as a grass cuttings catcher on my riding lawnmower. almost all the parts can be found on aisle twelve at home depot.

I firmly believe that the only thing a rear diffuser does is increase the flow of cash out of your wallet.

werd! i agree with GChambers.
driving s2000 with diffuser under normal ("ahem...") speed does nothing but
scrape the ground and pick up some garbage.

tho, it's very effective when at high speeds.
correctly engineered under tray diffusers helps the car's down- force a great deal,
hence it can be a substitute (or added effect...) for gt- wings for sports cars.

today's ultra high performance cars like mclaren or enzo, all do not have gt- wings
because of the under tray diffusers.

back in '80s f1 race cars have such greatly designed/ engineered under tray diffusers,
that during the competition the space under the cars were near- vacuum,
racers could make the cars carve corners at ridiculous speeds.
because of this reason it was banned, for the sake of safety.

modena too uses diffuser, at speed over 90 you can feel it really working,
as if the car being sucked into the ground, like a suction cup.

now for the "looks", i think top secret cf diffuser looks great on s2000s.
