Where did it get broken into? Your residence or somewhere in MV?

sorry to hear about your car. I guess the only safe place to park a car these days is your own garage, locked up and so that no one ever sees the car...yeah right.

T'is the season for all sorts of crimes to happen. Retail sales were down, so i can only guess that lots of stuff got stolen and then given as gifts? >sigh< weird Christmas for sure...even the parking lot at a local shopping center was only half full on the 23rd. What is wrong with that picture...hope stuff gets back to "normal" soon.

Wishing everyone a great new year to come!

Yeah it was a weird Christmas..check this out. I have 2 6 months old kittens, brother and sister. Well, the girl starts walking around with her ass up the air, and always laying down with her hind end up in the air. She also started this weird meow that we've never heard before. We thought for sure that our 4 year old hellraiser (boy) had jumped on her and broken her back or back legs or something. It was really strange, coz this cat now seemed to want lots of attentions and looked really awkward when it walked around, but then we saw it jump onto a couch, so we were puzzled.

Great, so my wife and I are thinking we're gonna have to take her to the vet if one was open Christmas eve. So we're watching this poor cat walk around meowing strangely, and next thing you know the boy cat (her brother) gets on top of her, bites her kneck, and starts trying to get his groove on with his sister. For Christ's sake, I rip the boy off his sister and proceed to lecture the dirty little bastard. So I get on askjeeves.com and find all about cat's behavior when they go in heat...sure enough, strange meow, want attention etc. Our vet told us they wouldn't do this until February, but I guess he was wrong.

So now we're keeping one of them in lockdown (spare bathroom), and rotating them every few hours. I seem to have lost my love for the cats now, since they acted so dirty. When the girl cat comes wanting attention I don't like it anymore, and think of her as being "dirty". When the boy cat comes to me I feel like he's a perverted little bastard, and I don't want his attention either.

Gotta get these little bastards fixed quickly!

Well, my Christmas was ok considering i have divorced parents to go to for visits, but I had one holiday mircale happen - Last monday i ordered a custom car cover from California for my dad's new vette - i paid an extra $20 for it to get there in 2 days - well, come last Saturday, no car cover - i was almost thinking it got stolen because i had UPS just leave it at the door - well wouldn't you know, at like 2pm on Christmas eve, the cover shows up about 2 hours before we have to be at my dad's for dinner - what timing! i had already bought him 2 bottles of good booze for backup in case the cover didnt show in time - sorry to hear about the tales of christmas vandalism though.

I think it is perverted to judge the natural behavior of another species by your own narrow standards.

LOL this is just a weird Christmas, but I am glad that good stuff happens too. Practice random acts of kindness and its amazing how KARMA works.

last year, a day before chrstimas, i crashed my accord, totaled the front. parked it in my apartment until my body shop guy had space. the next day, christmas, my accord and my S got broken into, broke the window. new years eve, my accord got towed by my apartment complex cause they said the car was an eyesore with the broken window covered with a garbage bag. i couldn't drive it cause the thiefs took out all the fuse in the car to disable the alarm.

so yeah, that was my holiday last year.
