O, I read you had to use longer ones. I guess I'll just test this and if I need longer ones I'll just bring the stockers with me.

you read correctly: you HAVE to use the longer (non-stock) ones. think about it.

From the Comptech Website:

"Easy oil changes without removing brace." (http://www.comptechusa.com/store/150050.html)

It is a bit vague. Comptech would like us to believe that their brace does NOT enterfere with oil changes, but I do not know.

Sidenote: I bought a brace for my old AP1 that was similar to DiGrappa's brace. From the same company, I bought also an Aluminum water pump pulley. I can't for the life of me remember which company it was. If anyone has an idea...please let me know.

After much research, there is no indication that the Cusco x-brace (type 1 or type 2) is anything like the Muz one. Sure the one pictured on the websites like Modacar are built like the Muz one, but no one can truly confirm that that is the one you receive for the s2000. So, if you want one like Muz's, you'll have to go there. I will wait for a bay area group buy *cough* to save on shipping. It's $250US after shipping from Muz. Yikes!

I'm surprised that nobody has mentioned the Ricks x-brace. I just bought it and think it is the best bang-for-the-buck mod I have. Handling is definitely improved! Also, I've had great experiences with Muz. I have his snorkel on my '04 and it really helps with the heat-soak problem. It does rub the hood, though (I think this is a problem with all snorkels from what I can tell).
