Quick question, does the Cusco Front Lower Brace do the same thing as a X-Brace?

Actually, it means that I suspect it only adds weight, which is more or less what I think the X brace does too.

I have the DiGrappa, its billet and awesome, doesn't get in the way of oil changes. I don't believe they make them anymore.
