Default XM Satellite radio and the S2000

Is anyone here considering getting the XM satellite radio for the S2000. I saw it on TechTV and it looks good other than the huge antenna that you have to put on.

Check the Electronics forum, there were a lot of discussions about the product, where to place it and models.

it ain't huge, and there are lots of options available for placement - go check out electronics and read on - myself and others post extensively on our experiences with XM.

Here's a question, is it worth adding XM to your OEM radio? I have a device you can use in lieu of your cd changer to hardwire the input.

I have XM in my S and absolutlely love it. I never worry about not having something to listen to. I dont have to do the work of making an MP3 playlist or creating CD's. The digital quality is amazing. The antenna can be inside the car (between headrests in my case). I would not use OEM radio due to loss of signal quality in the FM modulation. PM me if you have any other questions.

If the Unit can be hardwired then maybe it would work but price and work needed might make it worth it to just buy a new head unit unless you are in love with your existing unit.

Don't forget Sirius is now available with no commercials and three satellites instead of XM's two.
