Because one time I looked over at a group of teens in a civic Si when they said, "Hey, i was wondering if YOU COULD SUCK MY COCK!" From then on I will not acknowledge anyone not in a S2k if they wave me down. Unless of course, you are a Hottie girl! Late teens to early twenties I just blow by them.

Maybe because you live in the Bay area where most people buy nice cars for look and attention and don't share the same passion about the S2k with the rest of us.

Maybe you just met some whos not cool like most of us.....You just been lucky...I have met a few and they all cool about it.

Or maybe its easier to drive to car and get the other driver' attention?

Remember that 2/3rds of the owners on the road are not fanatics who need to get a life, like we are. They simply bought the car because they like it. These ppl don't wave because they've never been to S2000Online, hence they don't know the etiquette, or even understand why you're waving. You can usually recognize these people by checking their license plate. Most of us here, and other appreciative fans tend to have personalized plates. I use the philosophy that if an S2K has the a standard state license plate, there's an 80% chance he/she won't be a "waver". My advice is, don't wave too enthusiastically - you'll feel like an idiot if heorshe doesn't respond at all.

I don't know about you LA'ers, Bay Area owners, and TX guys, but around here, S2000's (Stooks for you Houston guys ) are few and far between (I'm in Orlando). So far, I have yet to meet an unenthusiastic owner. You almost always get a wave and a honk.

I'm sorry, but why do people ask these ridiculous questions. People are who they are. If your an ass and you buy an S2000, I bet you are still an ass. If you are cool and buy an S2000, I bet you are still cool.
