Default Year differences

Retail on S2000s out here are still too high. I may be looking to 2000 or 2001 S2Ks. Are there any major difference that would make purchasing a 2002 worth the haggling?

Thanks in advance

The 2002 has a warranty, glass rear window, better stereo, (supposedly) a better shifter, and chrome rings around the tail lights. If you are able to find a reasonably priced 2000 or 2001, I'd go for that. Although, the 2001 has fewer mechanical problems because of the 2000s first year production problems.

In my opinion, especially with summer coming, haggling isn't an option on a new one.

There seem to be few used s2000's to be had , so they seem to have a very high resale value...imo your better off spending a little more a get a new one and break it in the way you want to.

What problems are you talking about? I have a 00 and have had no problems. There are many of us out there with MY00 without any problems.
