Default Is yellow a dirty color?

Hi, I'm thinking of buying a either silver or yellow. I know silver is a lazy man's color but is yellow lazy man's color also? I loved silverstone silver but I don't really like the sebring silver. I like the yellow but I want to know if it's like black where you notice every little things and have lots of swarl marks. thanks

Ever notice the similarity of Spa Yellow and a school bus? Get the silver :-)

Well I've had my car almost two weeks and no bath yet.

YES! It looks great even after getting dirty. The wheels and exhaust tips lose their shine, but all else stays fresh looking.

Knock off the school bus jokes! NOBODY pulls out in front of me anymore, and I'm loving it!

I've had my Spa YELLOW for nine months now and I would have to tell you that I'm amazed at how infrequently I have to wash my baby. I don't think yellow is a dirty color. However, it sure is a sexy color!
Btw, our custom car cover works great and keeps the car really clean. It does leave fine grains of dust but can be easily wiped off with a duster. I park next to a freeway, so i try to keep it covered at all times. Otherwise, when I park by my house or anywhere else for that matter, the car remains pretty clean. Never get a black car if you're worried about dirtyness. If you've owned one, you all know what I mean.

I have not washed my SY since October of 2001...It is my only car, so it gets exposed to alot of crap.

The car still looks pretty good...I get compliments almost everyday

Spa yellow hides fine road grime well, but bug splats show up like bullet holes. Silver hides both pretty well, but I still prefer yellow 'cause it shows the car's lines better than any other color, IMO.

Wow, I was going to post that it is a dirty color but maybe it's just where I live. My car seems to attract dirt like.... uh... like something that really attracts dirt. It's mostly the rear end, it's covered in dirt after a couple of days. Maybe it's just my driving, I've put 2500 miles on the car in 5 weeks.

Dave, no doubt, the read end gets it the worst, but I think you nailed the 2 reasons why yours may be dirtier than most. Fla lacks the various "things" you guys pour on your streets for the snow.

My Black S is dirty within an hour after detailing, however, our Silver Accord never looks like it needs a wash. Silver is the way to go if you are trying to stretch out wash cycles. With that said, I would buy the Spa Yellow since that is one of your primary choices.

I love that color on this car!
