Hi guys,
I have been trying to follow modrifys install guide for the yellow jacket. Few things to point out, there are 2 yellow and blue wires - so which one do i choose!?!.

Secondly the pictures showing harness's etc dont quite match the uk car setup.

I have the unit and it doesnt blink or anything only when i start the car up, it blinks once then that it, i know the led stayed on but im sure that was becuase my wire was slighly loose.

Can anyone confirm the correct led procedure for when you start the car?

I have tested with a gps unit and my speedo is still out and no different from before. I dont know if anyone can give me pictures of there install??

Im contemplating the yellowbox now. Also i had the ESP light on dull, now when i return to stock and remove the yellowjacket its fine, no ESP light.

IMO European wiring is a little different.
This is how I did it.
The blue/white wire was where the manual said it would be.
Follow the manual (and maybe my picture - it works for me) and make proper connections and it does work.

I hope you made absolutely sure the wire you used is/was +5 volts.
Otherwise you may have released that misterious blue smoke out of the electronic components

 

If your LED is staying on and not blinking once connected, you may have fried the unit! I know because I had the same thing happen when I installed mine and had to get another one from Modifry. Once isnatlled correclty the YJ should blink once, then pause and start blinking repetedly.
