Default is yellow really inviting the unwanted?

Just curious to see how the yellow owner experience about their car. Is yellow really inviting the unwanted i.e cops on freeway, thief, etc? I am thinking of yellow, but can't justify another speeding tix, parking tix, or theft. My speeding tix mostly are ridicious, like 72 mph out of 65 mph, I dont even drive excessively.... I like clean car, so I don't put my plate at front, so I dont want to get multiple tix because of missing front plate, etc

i've had my car for about 3 months now...and i've been pulled over twice.

i drive no more aggressively in my s2k than my previous car...a 2000 silver 4 door accord, and i've been pulled over twice in my accord in the 5 years i've owned it.

So in short....yes! You'll get all kinds of attention (good AND bad).

well... all you have to do is ask yourself..

Given any particular situation : ie: sitting in traffic..

So lets say your sitting in traffic and your bored and in the on coming lane out of the corner of your eye a navy blue car passes by.. your not even going to look at it at all, let alone look at it twice!

Put yourself in the same situation, with a Yellow S2000.. Its a bright yellow sexually attractive convertable thats passing you by.. not just a navy car sedan. Bottom line, that bright yellow even if its on a 4 door sedan, is going to catch your eye. Or someones eye at that, whether it be your local police, state police, unmarked police, ricers, exotic owners, Other S2k owners... they all see the yellow.

I had a Yellow Mach 1 Mustang, never traveled on the freeway under 80. Never got pulled over, I got warned once cause my side windows were tinted dark. If a cop wants to pull you over it doesn't matter what color your car is, yer gettin pulled over.

As long as your not breaking the law, your ok.
Although I have to admit, I've already had to pay for a "no front licence plate ticket" and "speeding ticket", but I just the attention I recieve from everyone including the pigs.

I like yellow because of the color and it shows the line of the S2000, but I dont like the attention I am going to get with yellow. It's not like every sport car has to be yellow even though yellow is my fave color, like M3, yellow looks ugly, if i ever own an M3, gotta be black. but porsche 911, yellow, nsx red.

My second option is silverstone, but everybody has one... i dont like the red, the white and the blue. black is nice, but i dont own a home, so hard to maintain although i love washing car.

I don't have a big problem with the yellow. I don't mind attention, good or bad. Hardly have many chances to misbehave in the car so cops don't have many reasons to watch me. I don't have a front license plate on my car either, haven't had any problems with that, yet (knock on wood).

So, if you can't play nice with your car avoid bright colors!
