Mugen displays a yellow 04 with the red/black combo interior. I was playing around with doing this on my last S, but went with suede inserts instead. Now that I have to get one all over again, I thought maybe I could get with hardtopguy to do the Mugen style combo. What do you guys think about it? Does it look too McDonalds or is it really sweet. If someone could do a better shot with photoshop, that would be great. Thanks.

 

I would have to say no, the first thing that comes to mind is Mcdonalds. To each his own though, if you like it, get it.

i have yellow with red seats and inserts. I also have a spa yellow hardtop. For some reason I dont see McDonalds as the first thing that comes to my mind when I see it, I dunno. Maybe it's because theres a lot more black to overshadow the red.

I like the red interior on any color but the suzuka blue. Then again, I think black interiors boring. IMO black is a color that no one can say bad anything about it, but it isn't a color that is gonna make me look twice.

If the color combo was so nasty they wouldnt offer it in Japan, imo of course.

I think all black looks a whole lot better on a yellow car. The red to me detracts from it - ALOT.

 

I like it. If not, do black seats stiched with yellow thread.
