Yellow s2k with all red interior?
 

So I've always wanted a yellow s2000. For some reason yellow is just sooo sexy. A friend of mine told me that only in Japan they had yellow s2000 with red interior as a factory set up. I have a black one with all red and I'm wanting to paint it. Anybody even seen a yellow s with all red and what are opinions with how that would look?

Mine is Rio Yellow/black and I really like it. I don't think I'd go for the Yellow/black combination.

rio with cr interior would look really nice.

those 2 colors clash and will be a bad choice but it is your car.

I think you'd be better off buying a yellow S and the components of the red interior and just install them, or paint the car imola orange with an all red interior. I've seen that color combination and it is really sexy.

Real Imola with red interior looks really good. I saw it on only one Japanese S, never since, wish I had a photo. This is the closest I can find.

Much better than yellow/red, but if that's your thing, it can be done.

Definitely a nasty color combo IMO, and just not meant to be.

I found a Japanese Type-S for sale once with Rio Yellow exterior, red interior, and a blue top... all factory, they do it crazy in Japan.

Painted? Not very good IMO. Go with what you want though.

I don't think the red and yellow looks so bad, but probably a lot better black I'd agree.

Ugly color combo imo.

rio yellow with fully red interior doesn't look very good. but it's still personal preference. here are some people's cars in a JDM website.

OP, you can just take a few shots of your car and let someone PS. you will know if you like it or not.

Those are good pics. I don't think it looks so bad really, but I think the way my car is now is probably better. Maybe I'll pick up a yellow s2k later down the road or something. If anything white with all red is the best combo ever so I could always paint it white. To much of a hassle though really.

IMHO all red interior is too much. I do like Spa + red seats tho.

Like I said, Imola and red looks even better, the orange is closer to red.

Are you going to stay with the green wheels too?

the yellow w/red and black would be better IMO. However, it is Your car so it is for you to do as you please. Mine will eventually have Tan interior and Im sure there will be plenty of objections to that when the time comes

Has anyone Tried All Blue Interior with any exterior color other than suzuka and laguna?

I think it was the 2002 Canadian GPW that came with a blue interior, and there used to be a guy on here with a Berlina and blue interior... Same with a Sebring.

I think Blue Interior with those colors would Look very well. any pictures of the cars having blue interior? I'd like to see some.

Im a fan of the yellow and red interior :shrug:. Maybe not the FULL red interior, but certain parts yea for sure.

Wish there was more pics...I'm doing Spa Yellow with an AP2 Red & Black seat and door panel swap...I feel that's enough red and blends the black into the red well!!!

Hello all just wanted to put my .02 in. I think it is all in how you set the car up Mcdonald's would be a red car with yellow. But when you have a Yellow car and lets say red rims it looks really good! Google Yellow Civic Red rims (let me know what you guys think) Also does anyone know what color seats are in that Imola Orange S2000 Above?
