looking better.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. So it depends on who you're trying to please.

If you're trying to please your buddy at the high end store, then do it up. If you're trying to please me, don't bother with it. Probably not the response you want, but hopefully you see the point..

Some people don't know what looks good unless you tell them.

Although I do not know the color spectrum of the S2k's HID lamps, I do suspect they a have a very wide color band. But optically the human eye is more sensitive to the yellow end of the color spectrum than the blues so yellow lamps may aid in visibility for that reason.

Although perhaps, good for visibility to have yellow as a head lamp, taking a lamp with the amazing output of the S2K's headlamps and adding a filter that actually cuts down on the rest of the spectrum allowing more yellow to appear seems counter productive. I would seem to reduce the view of all the items of other colors that can quickly appear in front of a v-tec'ing S2K.

There are some places (such as countries in Africa) that use yellow head lamps due to its perceived ability to reduce glare in dust storms, so if you drive a lot in snow, rain etc the using the color may be a benefit.

In MHO, anything that reduces your ability to illuminate all the colors out there for the sake of cosmetic reasons would be not in one's best interest. An investment in yellow fog lamps would probably be a better ideal.

no tint at all on headlights/tails. reduced visibility and if you get in an accident the tint will definitely be noted by the insurance companies...

Why would you want to make your lenses looked yellowed?

You're referring to colour rendering, which HIDs are actually bad for, regardless of what temperature they are. So yeah, cutting everything out but yellow would significantly reduce visibility. It'd be like putting a yellow tint over your TV...everything would be black and yellow hahaha..
